NEW TO THE UKULELE WORLD! – STEEL BODY TENOR RESONATOR!
The opening line of Graceland by Paul Simon goes like this: “The Mississippi Delta is shining like a National Guitar.” I always loved those things! But until now, steel body resonators were only available in Soprano and Concert scale. So In 2017 I suggested to my Gold Tone rep that they create a steel resonator in tenor scale. I showed the prototype at my 2018 Palm Strings Uke Fest, requested some changes, and they are finally here! The finish is brushed, not “National Chrome,” but I really like it! Crisp, clean, low action and a removable cap so you can further adjust it to your liking. If you’d like to be one of the first to own a steel body tenor uke, here’s your chance! Very nice padded bag included.

A Tribute to the Original Pirates of the Caribbean
As a lifelong Disneyland fan whose kids both worked the Park, (including one who operated the Pirates of the Caribbean ride), I’ve always been enamored by the lute player’s instrument in the singing trio scene. From the look of the frets and knowing how the Imagineers worked in 1966, it’s most assuredly a real instrument and I wanted one badly. But decades after I first saw it, I still couldn’t track one down. So I decided to build a ukulele in tribute.
CUSTOM MADE IN THE USA! I wanted the ukulele built in the USA, and I finally found a builder to bring my design to fruition. This is a premium quality, professional level ukulele: All solid mahogany, with a radiused fretboard, a zero-fret, and extra long neck. Frankly, it surpassed my expectations. It plays superbly, sounds terrific, and looks just like the one in the ride, the final ride that Walt Disney personally oversaw…Pirates of the Caribbean at the original Disneyland in Anaheim.
Only ten Pirate Ukuleles were built—just two remain!
